Just a couple of weeks ago, we wrote about Woot which is a website that sells only one product a day at a great price. They have a set quantity for sale, and when the item for the day is gone, it’s gone. If by chance, their quantity doesn’t sell for the day, the sale of the item ends at 11:59, and then a new product goes for sale at midnight. People have become addicted to Woot, constantly checking in at midnight to see what the next great thing is.
Sometimes it’s hard to keep up with Woot, especially during a Woot-off where they have a succession of products available. This is where a Firefox Extension called Woot Watcher comes into play. It simply monitors Woot for you and will keep you up to date with the item that’s up for sale, and all of the details like the price, and whether or not it’s sold out. It’s also nice for those Woot-Off days because it will let you know what percent of the item is remaining according to the status bar.
You can download the extension here, and then you’ll be all set to stay on top of Woot! The image above shows what displays in your browser. It’s just a small line of text that gives you all of the essential information. Today’s example shows that it’s a JVC MiniDV Camcorder which was selling for $159.99, but they’re all sold out. This extension will probably be most useful to you on those Woot-off days when products are constantly changing.

I’ll post a second link at the bottom of the post, but towards the end where it says “download the extension here” is where you’ll find the link.
