I was just over at the FFExtensionGuru’s blog and noticed that Spread Firefox started a promotional contest for people who have written reviews of extensions. It is actually a really great idea, but only seems to be on a small scale right now.

Photobucket and Adobe Expected to Announce Flash-Based Video Editing Tool

Come Monday, an announcement is expected from Photobucket and Adobe in regards to a web-based video editing tool that Photobucket's users would be able to take advantage of. It would require Flash Player 9 to be installed, and would be found under Photobucket's media-sharing site.

After the drama that Yahoo’s new suggestion site caused I wasn’t expecting to see a big company launch a Digg-like site for a little while. As it turns out that “little while” was just a few days because Dell just opened the doors to a new site for users to submit ideas.

One of Windows Live Writer’s biggest downfalls is that it does not allow users to insert videos before publishing articles, or maybe it is just me. Every time that I try embedding the video into the HTML code of a post it gets screwed up.

Google Caters to RSS Publishers: Now Reporting Subscriber Count

In January, Google updated their Feed Reader Module for the Google Personalized Homepage so that items could be expanded and contracted.  This makes it easy to reed the items without ever having to leave.  It was a move that showed that Google was listening to their users.

Back in December, we decided that we wanted a good polling system that could be embedded into posts, and in the sidebar so we could survey our visitors.  After exploring with Zoho polls, which was nice, but just didn't  meet all of our needs, we turned to a WordPress Plugin called WP-Polls.
