A Turkish Court recently ordered that YouTube be banned because of a video that insulted the founder of modern Turkey, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. It was no joke to them, and now YouTube fans in Turkey are going to have to go without their favorite videos.

Anybody can call themselves a doctor, but only a handful have done the work and can prove it.

How many popup boxes do you see in a day’s time? I’m not talking about the popups that most browsers these days will automatically block, instead I’m talking about the popups that ask you things such as “would you like to update your browser?” These are things that you don’t necessarily need to take action on now, but currently a window will popup asking what you want to do.

Google has stepped up their game with Google Desktop Search.  They’ve made several improvements to it, and just released Google Desktop 5 beta. People use Google Desktop Search as an easy, convenient way to search email, web pages that you’ve viewed, music, photos, and other things. 

There are all kinds of Firefox tips and tricks available on the Web, and when I come across some of the cool ones (many in forums) I jot them down real quick. That way I don’t have to post about just one of the tricks, and instead I can show you a whole compilation of them.
