Nintendo’s Wii is King of the Hill for February Sales

February sales numbers are in, and according to NPD, a Market Research Firm, the Wii out-sold any other game console. And so far, they’re right on track to out-ship and out-sell both the Xbox 360 and the PS3 in 2007 as the International Data Corporation originally predicted.

Ubuntu Website Redesign, and Linux Now Needs Windows to Run…duh!

I was just browsing through some of the Digg articles and two Linux-related posts caught my attention. The first being that both the Ubuntu homepage and forum has received a very nice looking redesign. It not only looks classy but the layout is much better in my opinion.

Extension to Auto-hide the Firefox Tab Bar

I just tried out a new extension and the purpose of it is to auto-hide my Firefox Tab Bar. After all, an entire toolbar takes up a good chunk of space and every little bit of room matters to a power user.

Twitter is Exploding in Popularity, but wait, what is it?

You’re probably already sick of the word Twitter. I know, I’m just about at that point too. It wasn’t long ago that I hadn’t even heard of it, but lately it seems to have exploded in popularity.

CyberNotes: Microsoft, and Other Funny Billboards from around the Web

Another Friday is here, and thanks to an article I saw over at The Hive, I decided to put together a post with a few unique Microsoft Billboards. Those are to keep with the “technology” theme we have going here, but I also decided to do a search for “funny billboards” to see what else came up. I’ll start with the Microsoft ones first which I gathered from Flickr, and then I’ll follow up with the unrelated funny billboards that while real or not, should still give you a few laughs.
