Beware! Verizon uses bait and switch. After having the America's Plan and paying for text messages I decided to add unlimited text. At the time of the change I also had on one of my lines the web for an additional $5 dollars per month. Prior to adding the unlimited text and picture messaging, I asked repeatedly in person at the corporate store and on at least two different occasions on their 800 number whether this would affect any of my other services. I also expressed that I did not want anything to change other than adding the unlimited text. I was assured by all reps of Verizon that nothing would change and all that would be added, for an additional $30 dollars, would be the unlimited text service. Now I find myself with a plan change, additional charges per megabyte for web service, and being told that you can't have unlimited text without changing the whole plan. Shame on Verizon and its employees for not being honest and forthcoming about these changes. I have always had good connections and for the most part was happy with the service until now. I feel like they said anything to get me to change and don't appreciate my patronage. They all said the same things, so extra training would be a plus as well. Please add your comments if you have had similar problems. We all need to have a strong voice. Tell congress to implement stronger oversight and to do away with these high cancellation fees. Good Luck!
