Record Breaking Domain Name…$9.5 Million!

Up to now the most expensive domain name ever sold was Business.com for an estimated $7.5 million in stock during the dot-com boom (1999). Of course that was followed by a reported $12 million sale for the Sex.com domain name just last year. Now there is another one that can be added to the record books: Porn.com!

New Google Universal Search and Experimental Layouts!

Google has finally seen the demand for testing out their experimental interfaces that are always popping up. Now they have put several of the experimental interfaces on one page for users to try out: Google Experimental. Right now they only have four new layouts available: timeline/map view, keyboard shortcuts, left-hand search navigation, and right-hand contextual search navigation.

MySpace Launches Profile Editor for IE Users

MySpace is all about customization and allowing users to create personalized profiles. However, up until this point, users generally had to turn to outside sources to add that element of customization to their profiles.  There are hundreds of third party sources that offer pre-designed themes and backgrounds for MySpace pages for free.

The day is actually approaching. I wasn’t sure we’d ever actually see the day, but on May 20th you can pre-order an Optimus Maximus keyboard. Keep in mind, it isn’t cheap. In fact, the keyboard costs more than most of you probably paid for your entire computer – $1,536.

Google’s Presentation Application Peeks Out

It was just about a month ago that Google announced that they were indeed working on some sort of presentation system for Google Docs & Spreadsheets, and the first signs have started to peak out. Tony Ruscoe pointed out a link that appears on PowerPoint files when he receives them in his email, and the link offers the option to view the presentation as a slideshow:

Halo 3 Official U.S. Release Date is September 25th

Last week I went around the Internet to different retailers looking for a release date for Halo 3.  I was just curious what dates were out there, and if any of them were the same in hopes of getting some indication when to expect the launch. Out of 8 different stores that I checked, there were four different dates.
