Everbody Panic!

I thought a good way to wind down the day (filled with iPhone madness) would be with a fun, yet challenging game. A game called Everybody Panic is sure to frustrate you as you race against the clock to complete this maze-like game.

Helpful Tip: How to Refill Printer Ink

One way that you can save yourself some money is by refilling your own ink cartridges for your printer. The process is actually fairly simple, albeit messy, but it can easily be done.

Will the Real Speed Dial Please Stand Up?

One way that you know if you’ve come up with a great idea is if everybody decides to copy it. We see plenty of examples of that all around us on a daily basis. Just yesterday it was MySpaceTV that copied YouTube. Today, it’s Opera’s Speed Dial feature.

Five Free Blu-ray Movies with Blu-ray Player Purchase!

Blu-ray continues to get a few more people on their side in the battle with HD DVD. Just two weeks ago, Blockbuster decided to lend support to Blu-ray because next month when Blockbuster increases their selection of high definition DVD’s,  Blu-ray was chosen as the format.  This was viewed as another victory for Blu-Ray, and another slap in the face for HD DVD.

Where is Vista Taking Us?

In just 2-days it will be the 5-month anniversary since Windows Vista was released to consumers. Lately buzz around the Web has been dubbing Windows Vista as Me2, which is an abbreviation for Millennium Edition 2. Having been a not-so-proud owner of Windows Me I can thankfully say that Vista is no where near the state that Me was in.

CyberNotes: Happy iPhone Launch Day

Well, the big day is finally here. The day all… errr… some of us have been waiting for. I’m sure some of you are counting down the minutes and seconds until you can go marching into the Apple store to pick-up your very own iPhone. Wait, what am I thinking. If you really want an iPhone, you’re already in line. If you get one, we want stories.

MPAA’s New Target: Peekvid and YouTVPC

The MPAA (Motion Picture Association of America) is having a field-day with this one! They’re after Peekvid and YouTVPC, looking to shut down both sites for streaming copyrighted material for free.  Both sites have become pretty popular recently (53,000 unique visitors per day for Peekvid), which helps to explain why the MPAA is going after them.

Mozilla Adds Tabs to Thunderbird Nightly…the Elves Dance

Mozilla has finally done it! The one feature that I wanted the most in Thunderbird 2 has finally made its way into the nightly builds of Thunderbird 3: Tabs! It was a sad realization when I knew there was no chance of tabs making it into Thunderbird 2, and I almost thought that they scrapped the idea all together.

MySpaceTV Blatantly Copies YouTube

MySpace TV has launched. Go take a look for yourself and the first thing you’ll probably notice is that it has a very familiar resemblance of YouTube. Yep, MySpaceTV blatantly copied YouTube in more ways than one. While it makes sense for MySpace to take a video-sharing route, they could’ve at least put some effort into making the site their own.

Google Maps Gets Drag & Drop Routes

I just went over to the Google Maps page and noticed a new feature that said "" Curiosity got the best of me so I decided to try it out to see what it did, and after creating a route I noticed that I can make Google Maps go the way I want it to when giving directions. Check it out in this very quick video that I put together:

Google Now Does Linux Desktop Search

Google has now branched their Desktop Search application across all of the major operating systems: Windows, Mac, and Linux. The new Beta for Linux just hit the Web today and runs on KDE or GNOME under Debian 4.0, Fedora Core 6, Ubuntu 6.10, SUSE 10.1, or Red Flag 5. I’m sure those are just the minimum requirements and that it would run fine on Ubuntu 7.06 as well.

Google Adds Geotagging to Picasa Web Albums

Geotagging photos is something that I never got into doing until recently. I have a Flickr account and I went through my 5,000+ photos adding locations of where they were taken. Surprisingly it didn’t take me all that long, but I also didn’t go that in-depth with geotagging.
