Active Virus Shield Now Compatible with Vista :)

There is a new version of Active Virus Shield available that finally supports Vista. I had been saying for awhile that when a Vista-compatible version came around that I would be jumping all over it, and immediately after finding out about this I had it installed on my computer.

Coming Soon: Unlimited Storage with AOL Mail

Soon AOL will be joining Yahoo on the list of web-based mail services that offer unlimited storage. Webware is reporting that in the coming weeks, we can expect both the unlimited storage as well as integrated chatting. The integrated chatting would make it easier for those who use AIM to chat with their contacts right from their mail, much like the integrated chat in Gmail.

Microsoft Says No! Xbox 360 Price is not Dropping

Last week, Bloomberg (a news agency) published comments from David Hufford, director of Xbox product management, which lead people to believe that an Xbox 360 price-drop was imminent.  Hufford was quoted as saying “We are all aware that the sweet spot of the market is really $199 bucks.” With that statement, everybody assumed that Microsoft was planning to take the Xbox 360 to that sweet spot.

WWDC 2007 — Safari coming to Windows!

The Worldwide Developers Conference 2007 (WWDC) started today, but there weren’t many new things revealed as I had expected. For Privacy International, it’s warranted them a lot of free publicity. Perhaps this is what they wanted.

SpaceTime 3D Browser: Mostly for Fun

SpaceTime has released a new 3D browser that is definitely innovative, but I don’t see it being all that useful. It boasts the 3D search, 3D eBay searching, and 3D tabbed browsing which is something your friends would definitely be impressed with, but that doesn’t mean it is very usable.

CyberNotes: Use Windows DVD Maker to Create your own Photo Album

The popularity of digital cameras has meant that people take more pictures because they’re not held back by limited amounts of film.  I love taking pictures with my digital camera, and I also love to share them whether it be through email, social networks, or my Flickr account.  Another way to share photos that I recently experimented with is by using the new Windows DVD Maker.
