While online applications have turned into the next “big thing,” taking them offline seems to be just as big. ThinkFree has just announced that they are taking their Online Office Suite Offline with ThinkFree Premium Edition. Before you get all excited, you should know that it’s not free.  Starting in August they will charge a monthly fee of $7 per user for the ThinkFree Premium service. This morning my brother pointed out that the Google IG page had a little drop-down menu next to the name of the tab. I took a look at it real quick, and didn’t see anything that looked special. The cost? Well, rumor has it that Yahoo would give up 25% of their stock which would

Well, it happened...again. Microsoft lost the war against Google in regards to the integrated search feature that Vista has. Google was upset at just how integrated the search capabilities are in Vista, and wanted a way to implement their own instant search throughout the operating system. An example of this is in Vista’s Start Menu where a search box prominently sits, and

If you’re keeping track, get out your list of Google Acquisitions for the year and add Zenter to it.  Google just announced that they have acquired Zenter which is software for online slide presentations. I know, some of you are probably recalling their acquisition in April for Tonic whose technology focuses on Java solutions for “presentation creation and document conversion.” It looks like just one presentation company isn’t
