Opera 9.5 Weekly Builds Coming Soon

Opera started off the morning by pleasing a lot of people! They broke the news that work on Opera 9.5 is almost to the point where they can begin releasing weekly builds to the public. They were a little light when it came to what new features would be included, but you can surely expect to see great things coming from their developers. Here’s what they did say:

Windows Longhorn Reloaded was a project that several individuals worked on in hopes of bringing Longhorn back to life. It was less than a month ago that the Longhorn Reloaded project released their first milestone, and Microsoft finally sent them the cease and desist letter after more than 60,000 downloads.

Back in April, the Google Talk Translator hinted that Group Chat and AIM Integration would be coming sooner or later. AIM Integration isn’t here, but group chat is! Just today they launched a new feature that allows you to invite multiple people into a conversation.

Windows Live Messenger Now Updates via Windows Update

Use Windows Live Messenger? Now you’ll receive your updates for Messenger via Windows Updates.  You may have noticed the Windows Update icon in your taskbar today. Click on it, and you’ll see the update for Messenger 8.5 beta.  This is the first time that Microsoft has taken this route to distribute updates for Messenger.
