June 30th Last Day to get Wii Opera-Powered Browser (for free!)
I think most everybody will agree that Opera for Nintendo Wii has been quite the success. Ever since it was released into beta in December, it’s been available to users for free.

It’s time for your daily fix of iPhone updates! The first reviews are in from The Wall Street Journal (Walt Mossberg), The New York Times (David Pogue), USA Today (Ed Baig), and Newsweek (Steven Levy), and overall I’d say the reviewers were pretty impressed and generally had nothing but good things to say about the phone.
Microsoft has finally come forward with information regarding their Windows Live Folder service, as well as announcing a new Windows Live Photo Gallery for both Windows Vista and XP SP2.
We knew a “complete overhaul” was in-store for Google Docs & Spreadsheets, we just didn’t think it was going to be introduced as soon as it was! Yesterday the Docs & Spreadsheets team introduced all of the changes, and posted details of those changes on their blog.
Mozilla has definitely made a name for themselves with Firefox, and have done such a great job of developing the browser that other people want to create their own browsers based on Firefox. To create their own browsers...they use Gecko, Firefox’s rendering engine as the core of the browsers that they create.
We’ve read over and over again about all of the perks that come along with working at Google. Three free meals per day, exercise facilities, doctor and dental care on-site, money towards the purchase of a hybrid vehicle, and the list goes on and on. They’ve also had the honor of being named the #1 company to work for in 2007 by Fortune Magazine, but is it really THAT great?
When DivShare launched their last big update I was a little skeptical about them ditching their Premium plan in favor of their new DivShare Direct. With the DivShare Direct you are able to link directly to the files that you upload as well as put your own logo on the DivShare Flash video player (). The downside to the plan was that your account had some new limitations added to it:
Back in May we did a comparison of DirectX 9 and DirectX 10 to show graphically what the differences are. The reason why it is important is because Microsoft didn’t make a DirectX 10 that works with Windows XP, so you would have to upgrade to Vista to benefit from it.
Today is a day of silence in the Land of Internet Radio. Thousands of webcasters have gone silent including Pandora, Yahoo Radio, MTV Radio, Rhapsody, and many, many others.

I think we’re going to be all iPhoned out by the time Friday gets here! The news today is that AT&T and Apple have FINALLY announced the service plans for the iPhone, and surprisingly, they’re much more reasonable than I ever expected.
The Vista Transformation Pack 7 (Download Mirror) has been released! That’s right, the most popular skinning utility for Windows XP (and also Server 2003 now) has received an even better upgrade complete with a new Vista-like Start Menu. Here’s everything that’s new in VTP 7:
Dell wants you to pick your favorite color with your next notebook PC purchase. Starting today, a new line of Inspiron home notebook computers will give you the option of selecting one of eight different colors at an attempt to boost sales.
The thought of being able to backup and access your music no matter where you are is surely an appetizing thought. Just look at Flickr...people needed a way to backup and access their precious photos from anywhere and Flickr catered to those people.

If you’re anything like me your Flash drive is almost like carrying a pocket knife. Mine contains a whole arsenal of applications and tools that are always ready to assist me. I’ve always got it with me wherever I go, and it definitely comes in handy when I’m repairing someone’s computer.
Today Google announced a whole list of new features for Google Apps which is used by both small and large businesses alike. Out of the list, one of them stood out more than the others.
We’ve seen this Ubuntu installer for Windows before, but now it has new features and a new name: Wubi Beta. It uses no confusing lingo, and even lets you choose a variety of options that similar applications don’t offer:
Despite the fact that the iPhone will be released in just a few short days, we still really haven’t heard much about the details of the phone in regards to settings, and even some of its features. A recent video floating around the web gives us a glimpse at some of the settings that you can expect, including a sample of a few ringtones.
IE7Pro is the single biggest browser add-on that I’ve ever seen. We’ve previously outlined some of the features that it enhances Internet Explorer 7 with, but we thought that it was time to take another look at it. Heck, in the last 5-months it has received 7 updates, and almost every update adds at least one new feature.
Finally, there’s an update regarding the @live.com email addresses! Last year around this time, it was rumored that they were going to be released. We waited, and waited, and nothing ever came of it.

Back in May, a screenshot from an Adobe Breeze presentation yielded an interesting Google Talk screenshot which included new links like “show dial-pad,” “call details,” and “close.” This gave us great indication that Google has plans of incorporating a calling feature where users would be able to dial-out and place phone calls right from Google Talk.
