Easily Use Meriam-Webster’s Dictionary in Google Docs

We knew that Google had been working on integrating Encyclopedia Britannica and Meriam-Webster’s dictionary into Google Docs, thanks to the Google Operating System Blog.  Google has yet to release this feature, but now there’s a way for you to start using the dictionary through the use of a short line of JavaScript code.

New CyberNet Design Coming Soon to a Browser Near You

About a week ago we gave you some insight as to what you can expect from the new CyberNet design that we’re preparing to launch. We’re almost completely finished with it, there’s just a few little details left. It’s been tested in Internet Explorer 6 & 7, Firefox 2 & 3 Alpha, Opera 9, and Safari 3 Beta and works beautifully.

Free JPEG Enhancer Cleans Up Nasty Compression

The JPEG photo format is great because the resulting images have a reduced filesize, but it is often at the expense of the image quality. There are varying levels of JPEG compression, some of which are noticeably horrible while others are pretty good. The result of poor JPEG compression is often blotchiness and "artifacts".

Vista Ultimate Extras Finally Coming Soon (Hopefully)

iPhone Reviews, Videos, and Initial Thoughts

iDay has come and gone, and analysts are estimating that 500,000 iPhones were sold over the weekend (they were only predicted to sell 200,00). And with a survey indicating that 95% of buyers purchased the more expensive 8GB model, Apple brought in at least $297 Million! This reminds me of the Monday morning Box Office stats that are announced saying what the top movies grossed.

CyberNotes: What is a .docx file?

With the introduction of Microsoft Word 2007 came a new file extension. Prior to Word 2007, documents were saved in the .doc file format. Now by default, documents are saved in the .docx file format. The X attached to the end signifies that it is in the Open XML format which was developed by Microsoft specifically for Office 2007.
