MP3Tunes – We have Unlimited Storage to Giveaway!

We reviewed the MP3Tunes online music storage service last week and it has thoroughly impressed me. They have free software available to sync your music with their servers, and the only downside was that they gave away limitless storage to just a small number of free accounts each day.

GOOG Yourself a Map…kind of

I am a big fan of the Google 411 service (1-800-GOOG-411) since the number is easy to remember and because it doesn’t cost a thing. I’ve used it on multiple occasions, and especially for calling ahead to make a reservation for a restaurant.

iPhone Reviews, Videos, and Initial Thoughts

iDay has come and gone, and analysts are estimating that 500,000 iPhones were sold over the weekend (they were only predicted to sell 200,00). And with a survey indicating that 95% of buyers purchased the more expensive 8GB model, Apple brought in at least $297 Million! This reminds me of the Monday morning Box Office stats that are announced saying what the top movies grossed.

CyberNotes: What is a .docx file?

With the introduction of Microsoft Word 2007 came a new file extension. Prior to Word 2007, documents were saved in the .doc file format. Now by default, documents are saved in the .docx file format. The X attached to the end signifies that it is in the Open XML format which was developed by Microsoft specifically for Office 2007.
