New Image Scaling Working Demo

Last week we wrote about a break-through image scaling technology that took into account the content of the photo. The video demonstration that they provided was, in my opinion, nothing short of astonishing. Now one-week later we have a scaled down (no pun intended) Flash version created by a third-party.

A Look at the New Zune 2 and Zune Flash

Gizmodo is claiming that the photos pictured below are the first shots of the New Zune. The images came from “a source who cites marketing materials, likely from the retail channel, but were confirmed by a second source as well.” Of course just because they were confirmed by a second source doesn’t mean that they’re legit.

Tweak Vista & XP with XdN Tweaker

I’m astonished at how many tweaking utilities have been released for Vista thus far. We’ve got TweakVista, VistaTweaker, TweakUAC, Vista Sidebar Styler, and Vispa. Now we’ve got one more that we can append to that list: XdN Tweaker. This one is a little more unique than the others, and the reason for that lies in its cross-compatibility.

OS & Browser Stats for Bloggers

WordPress.com is the home of nearly 1.4 million blogs, and in a days time they receive upwards of 12 million pageviews. There’s roughly 75,000 new posts among those blogs each day, along with 30,000 comments (not including the ones caught by Akismet). For that reason WordPress.com is an accurate measure of what tools the blogosphere is using.
