In my view you would have to be crazy to go replacing core basic operating system utility features like file copying with third party stuff. MS may not be pristine but they have a few hundred million people depending on them and they even have a small staff they use for checkout at times. Use of this sort of troubleware leads to potential problems of all sorts that you may never even know about until it is far too late. You'd be a certified nut case to use any of them. “Under some circumstances…” says it all. This makes sense except it only checks for file size and not contents so I'm even when I'm asking it to overwrite a different file, it does nothing. I've faced this issue with Teracopy too. It's quirks like these that compel me to stick to Windows' clumsy but somewhat more trusty interface coz file transfers is not something I want to take chances with. Other than this, copy-handler is indeed very impressive. I prefer the feature set that CopyHandler has as well, but TeraCopy is really nice when it comes to simplicity. I actually hadn’t noticed the bug on Vista until you pointed it out though.
