I learned a new term over the weekend, and it’s called Bacn! What is Bacn? No, it’s not the delectable bacon that you eat for breakfast, instead it’s the new term for emails that are a cross between spam and personal mail. Here’s a message regarding Bacn from the people who coined the new word:

The acquisition is scheduled to be completed

I’ve been a huge fan of the online Google Reader ever since they launched the much needed redesign almost a year ago. Since then I think they’ve taken feed reading to a whole new level, and have drawn many users away from Bloglines.

Today Ask, who acquired Bloglines back in 2005, announced that

Yahoo has announced the launch of an “all-new Yahoo! Mail” that has quite the list of new features including chat capabilities right inside Yahoo Mail, and the option to send and/or receive text messages. Many of you have been trying out some of the new features since the public beta launched back in September of 2006. The beta is now over, and I think those who haven’t experienced the beta version will be impressed
