From Jason
I want it to work in the sidebar. I don’t want the message to also appear in the browser page. That way I can stay on the page I was on and read email at same time.

Read above.. I agree with him. I wonder how do I get it to work in the sidebar because every time when I click, the message shows up in the browser page. I want it to stay in the sidebar. You said that everything will continue to open in the sidebar. How do you do that? Please help thanks :)

Everything will continue to open in the sidebar. Sorry, that's just the way it is.

Apparently Firefox does not natively support the mime-type application/vnd.wap.xhtml+xml

To get the Facebook link to work nstall the Firefox extension below:

I'm not sure what's going on with the Facebook link. It works in Opera for me, and it works in Firefox sometimes. I think Firefox may have a problem recognizing it as a website sometimes.

Nice list.
I've already been doing Google Notes and Weather in the sidebar.
Though for weather, I much prefer Weather.com's hour by hour list, since it gives you a nice small listing of the day's weather, which fits perfectly in the sidebar.

The gmail and gcal links are helpful, so thanks for that.

For these, you don't need to have them open for your entire browsing session, so IMO, a widescreen monitor isn't a must.

I'm not going to use these myself as I don't have a widescreen monitor, but when I try to load the Facebook mobile page it tries to download the .php file, rather than giving me the page. Not sure why. I use the iPhone version of Facebook in Netvibes, which is quite nice but for some reason doesn't include any functions for groups.
