So you just got paid and you’ve got some money burning a whole in your pocket? It would be silly of you to waste that money on unimportant things like food, rent, or gas. Don’t worry, today we’re going to show you the true meaning of life through the eyes of a geek. So bust out your checkbook, because we’ve got some deals for you!

  1. Diamond Optical Mouse ($24,180) - This is the gift you give when you’ve bought the wife all the jewelry she could ever want…the diamond optical mouse! It’s made of 18 carat white gold and has 59 diamonds, but it’s only got three buttons?
    Most Expensive Mouse
  2. Handmade Keyboard ($4,362) - This was a handmade limited edition keyboard being offered by Fujitsu. Um, yeah, stylish.
    Most Expensive Keyboard
  3. JVC 110″ Monitor (estimated $53,000) - Despite being uber large this is restricted to a 1920×1080 resolution, which would mean the Start button would probably be the size of your fist. :)
    Most Expensive Monitor
  4. 64GB USB Drive ($4,749.99) - If you find yourself carrying around 30 or so 2GB flash drives on your keychain maybe it is time you fork out almost $5k on this 64GB drive. Better hurry though, you don’t know how long Office Depot will be able to keep these suckers in stock when they’re priced this low!
    Largest Flash Drive
  5. Carbon/Leather Mouse Pad ($524) - Don’t you just hate when your mouse pad breaks? Yeah, me too. If you had one that was solid carbon fiber with inlaid leather then maybe you wouldn’t have that darn problem! Oh look, here’s one now! ;)

    …Wow.

I think that’s all there is to say, really. Except for: damn, that is an ugly keyboard.

  2. Avatar

Yeah, the keyboard is definitely “one of a kind”. :)

I dunno, I kinda like the keyboard.

The mouse looks like it’d be uncomfortable as hell though. Who wants to rest their hands on sharp rocks for hours on end?

I have a hard time believing that anyone would actually use a mouse that costs so much, so maybe comfort wasn’t in the design documents. :)

Great post. I’ve never actually seen Ryan use a mouse pad though…

    That was exactly my thought!

I though the keyboard was chocolate as well.

110″ monitor? Good Lord WHY?! Why not just get a 25″ and save yourself the hassle.

    Ugly ass keyboard. Painful mice…

    This is terrible….

    Bragging rights…duh! :D

Well, there are many uses for a 110″ monitor. For one, you can watch 20 or so episodes of captain planets simulatneously provided you can sort all the talk. And for another, I’d dish out on the keyboard. You sometimes get hungry working, and who needs a Q anyway? (Or the second shift or alt for that matter)

Yeah, the Q key is overrated. I should just yank that off my keyboard right now. :)

I wish I had that flash drive. :) I’d boot up to it every time I go to colege using their computers. Fun read.

Tis was crazy shit, it is so expensive, why dont you buy a god damn car instead of a computer, i mean, you can USE a car, but not this stuff, yeah you could brag, but WHY

  18. Avatar

How about saving the money. I find this totally idiotic, you buy jewels, you wear them and move around and make sure everyone sees it.
But why would i want every one to see my mouse ?

 :|  8O :) :? 8) :D   :P  ;) :o  :x :( :!: :?:
