It would be perfect if we could click links inside a pdf document.
Until now only Acrobat Reader can do that.
Maybe this is the price we have to pay for the speed of Foxy Reader.

I don't think I've ever seen a tool that can do that, but it's actually better to not have it open in the browser. Otherwise it can cause your browser's memory usage to skyrocket. At least that's what would happen with Acrobat a lot of the times.

I actually use this to print USPS labels as well, and haven't had a problem. Granted we normally don't do several at a time, but I would have expected to see a problem like this at least once with the dozens of documents and stuff we've printed from Foxit.

The one thing Foxit has always sucked at is printing USPS labels. Today I went to print 6 labels. The first 2 printed OK, then the rest of the labels are missing bar codes. It pulls stuff like that. I really want it to be better, but it just is terrible at printing technical documents - even to a Postscript printer.

Sometimes it won't print small annotations on technical drawings, it'll just print them as solid blocks.

As the first post said, this is NOT a good app to print from.

Foxit Reader is one of my favorite pieces of free software, so I recommend it to anyone using Adobe Reader still. Ryan also has a great post offering Opera Tips & Tricks. [...]

That's normally requires PDF editing capabilities, and I've yet to see a free program that offers it.

I have just started using Foxit Reader and for the most part I like it, especially the short load time. The one thing I find missing, that I use alot in Adobe Reader is the ability to check all the document permissions (print, annotate, view only, encryption, etc.) in one convenient place. I create a lot of PDF files to send to clients that require encryption and change restrictions and like to make sure that the permissions are what they should be. Perhaps I am missing this, or they have a plugin for it?
