Adobe Flash Player Now With H.264 (HD quality)

Just the other day Adobe released Flash Player 9.0.115.0, and the most notable feature is the new H.264 (HD quality) video support. That is pretty big news because H.264 offers better video quality at lower bitrates, which inevitably makes for a better viewing experience. As Wikipedia points out there are numerous benefits to using H.264 for sharing videos.

Google Caters to iPhone Users

Despite the fact that Google hasn't made an official announcement that a special interface for iPhone users has launched, it has. TechCrunch initially reported yesterday that an anonymous tipster informed them that it had launched, and sure enough, it had. The image to the right shows you what this interface will look like on the iPhone.

Wireless Keyboard Keyloggers Steal Your Data

We all know about hackers stealing data from wireless networks by breaking their encryption, but has the security of your wireless keyboard ever concerned you? If you think about it your keyboard sends anything you type (websites, passwords, instant messenger conversations, etc...) to your computer.

Portable Firefox 3 Beta 1

I can't even count the number of requests I've had to create a Portable Firefox 3 from the latest Beta version that was released. There has been at least a few dozen requests, and I try to do my best explaining how users can create their own version of Portable Firefox.

Flickr Taking Photos on a Picnik

We knew it was coming, and now it's here! Now you can edit the photos you've uploaded to Flickr right Flickr using Picnik, my favorite online photo editing service. The folks at Flickr must have "creating a fantastic experience for our users" at the top of their priority list, because the service continues to get better and better.

Chat with AIM Buddies in Gmail Chat

Back in October we speculated that multiple IM support was going to be coming to Google Chat after taking a look through the source code and finding info regarding Jabber transports. Sure enough, IM support is now available in Gmail Chat but the only messenger service they're currently supporting is AOL's instant messenger.

CyberNotes: Give Firefox a Vista Feel

One of the things that I'm looking forward to the most with Firefox 3 is to see what kind of redesign they will come up with for Vista users. Right now the Firefox theme in Vista is anything but stellar, but it is possible to improve it with very little work on your part. We are going to walk you through several changes that you can make, all of which will keep the default Firefox theme in tact.
