Helpful Tip: Middle-Click to Close Programs

I can't even begin to count how many people have become addicted to closing tabs in their browser using the middle mouse button. If you're one of those people I'm here to tell you that you can carry that feature outside of your browser and onto the Windows Taskbar!

Lookup Unknown Files

When was the last time that you checked your Task Manager for potentially dangerous files? I'll admit that I don't do it all that often because I put a lot of faith in my antivirus software, but I have been known to Google apps that I don't recognize. I'm sure you've done your fair share of Googling filenames, right?

Wi-Fi Slowly Making its way to the Sky

We all know that the FCC prohibits the use of cellular phones and other wireless devices on aircraft while they're in the air - it's been that way forever.  Around 2004 though, they were asked to lift the ban so that passengers could talk on their phones while flying.  The FCC said no to that but what they have said yes to is high-speed Internet access for laptop computers because they operate on frequencies different from those used for wireless services on the ground.

Best Antivirus (Retrospective Tests)

Just yesterday we wrote about how some of the best antivirus apps were having troubles passing the VB100 test. In that scenario the apps were only tested against viruses that had already been released to the wild.

Sync Microsoft Office Documents with Google Docs

For those of you who use both Microsoft Office and Google Docs, you're going to love a fairly new web app called DocSyncer. DocSyncer makes it possible to synchronize your Microsoft Office documents with your Google Docs account.  It's pretty genius, isn't it? I'm actually surprised Google hasn't thought to try to implement something like this on their own.

CyberNotes: The Best Big Bang Theory Quotes

Without a doubt, The Big Bang Theory is my new favorite sitcom this season. It's one of those shows where you'll catch yourself literally laughing out loud. You could say the 30 minute show definitely has quite the entertainment value. The show is centered around two geeks in their 20's who are both physicists and both hold PhD's.
