One Microsoft employee has decided to give just the smallest bit of insight as to what we might see in Windows 7. Hilton Locke, a developer on the Windows Shell team, is the source of the "leak" this time around. He didn't really say much, but after a brief mention of Dell's new Tablet PC he went on to say:

The reason why I didn't include this information in the earlier post was that my installation had not completed, and in the end it took about 45 minutes to finish installing.

Google has just launched a new Toolbar for Internet Explorer with several new and multiple improved features. Given the large portion of our readers who use alternative browsers like Firefox, this new toolbar really won't be beneficial to you. Merriam-Webster’s Word of the Year … w00t!

Each year, popular dictionary Merriam-Webster names a word of the year with the help of the visitors to their website.  They're given a list of words that were submitted by users and then asked to vote on which word they feel should be the #1 word of the year.  The big winner this year is the word "w00t" - an interjection used to "express joy." While some of you may use this word and have heard others use it before,  the main crowd of people that use it regularly are some of the hardcore online game enthusiasts.

Public Vista SP1 RC Download Posted

It almost seemed as though a public pre-release version of Vista SP1 was never going to come, but Microsoft has finally decided to let the entire world join in on the joy of improved stability and performance! Today they officially posted the first, and probably last, Release Candidate of Vista SP1.
