2007 CyberNet Awards: Best Tiny Programs

Over the last year we've covered hundreds of different applications, but there are only a handful that are both worthwhile and small. You may recall that we've done a post with 15 ultra tiny apps, all of which were 250KB and under in size. My favorite tiny program of the year, however, was not on that list!

WOW! Remember the Milk in Gmail

Remember the Milk just became the task manager service on the Internet. If you're running Gmail 2 in Firefox you can install the new Remember the Milk extension. It wasn't too long ago that Hulu launched into their private beta - October 28th to be exact.  Hulu is a joint venture between NBC Universal and News Corp (Fox) which provides premium video content on demand. The only way you can try Hulu is by getting an invitation, and those invitations haven't been available in abundance... until today!

CyberNotes: Backup Emails (Outlook, Thunderbird, Gmail)

For one reason or another many email applications don't provide an easy way to backup all of your data. To me it seems like a no brainer to offer such a feature especially for online email services where you have a minimal amount of control over how you can export your data.
