I stopped using VNC a long time ago for three reasons: You need to install client software, manually manage firewall configuration, and there are no ‘extras’ like file transfer support.

I used GoToMyPc for many years happily, but recently switched to LogMeIn.com as its free, does most of what GoToMyPc.com does, and works on Macs.

I think LogMeIn.com has an iPhone app too.

LogMeIn is definitely a sweet service. And yes, they do have an iPhone app (not free though). I just like connecting directly to the machine sometimes because the performance feels like it’s better.

Without a doubt intelliscreen ([intelliborn.com]) saves me a absurd amount of time. I have check weather, mail, sport scores, and news without even unlocking the phone.

I use that as well… I was just trying to stick with the apps you don’t have to Jailbreak to get. IntelliScreen is a must-have for anyone with a Jailbroken device.
