IE 8 Will Not Follow Standards By Default

The Internet Explorer team is at it again pointing out that Internet Explorer 8 is looking to closely follow the web standards we've all become accustomed to in other major browsers. Earlier they demonstrated that IE 8 currently passes the Acid 2 test, and the IE blog actually admitted their lacking of compliance with the standards in the past:

It's been about six months since Pownce first launched into an invite-only beta, and now they've jumped out into the public. It's considered to be a "social networking and micro-blogging" site, and it resembles Twitter quite a bit except with more features.

Windows 7 Sucks, I’ll Stick With Vista

A Neowin forum member wrote a post outlining features for what is supposedly Windows 7 (build 6.1.6519). Even if you refuse to pay for wireless Internet through your cellphone carrier, there are normally plenty of hotspots around town for you to stop in on. Once you get connected you can whip out a mobile device, such as a Pocket PC or cellphone, and blog away.
