Optical Illusion: Are you Right or Left Brained?

Here's a little more Friday Fun for you. Below you'll find an image of a moving dancer. Is she moving clockwise or counter-clockwise? Depending on how your brain works, you will see it differently. If she's moving clockwise, you're using your right brain and if she's moving counter-clockwise, you are using your left brain. Some of you will be able to see her moving in both directions.

No New Theme for Ubuntu 8.04

One of the big features that Ubuntu 8.04 was supposed to ship with in April was a completely revamped theme. That one of the key things that everyone was looking forward to, but it has since been erased off the list.

Writer’s Strike Over?

CNBC and other media outlets are reporting that the writer's strike is over.  They quote former Walt Disney Chief Executive Michael Eisner as saying, "" Could it really be over? There's been no official word from the Writers Guild of America on whether or not this is for real, but I'm sure we'll be hearing one way or another, officially, very soon.

I would say that Microsoft once again threw down the gauntlet when they announced that Vista SP1 will deactivate machines using OEM BIOS cracks and other methods used to circumvent activation. After over a dozen emails about the topic I decided that I would check out for myself whether Vista SP1 RTM really causes piraters as much trouble as they say it will.
