When it comes to the high-def format war I don't think there is much arguing that Blu-ray is emerging as the clear winner. Within the last week Netflix announced that they are starting to phase out HD-DVD's from their rentals, and then shortly following them Best Buy said that they will start recommending Blu-ray to their customers.
It's no mistake, iPhone users actually use the Internet on their phone and they're using Google to perform searches. Google originally thought they made a mistake with their data when they saw how often they were getting search requests from iPhone users. As it turns out, it was no mistake and Google really is receiving 50 times more search requests from iPhones than any other mobile handset.
For some of you who were just able to get your hands on a Nintendo Wii, Xbox 360, or Playstation 3, you're not even thinking about the next generation of consoles. Analysts are though, and according to some, 2010 will be the shot-gun start for the next round. The last time around, Microsoft had quite an advantage by launching the Xbox 360 a whole year ahead of the PS3 and the Wii.

Signs of Life is a website I recently stumbled across and it's an ongoing community project where people can submit photos of signs that "transcend their objectivity to reveal our humanity." In their "Frequently Asked Questions" section they explain that the signs can have a funny spelling, a grammatical error, another meaning, or it could simply be the existence of the sign itself that makes it worth submitting.
