Poll: Where Do You Backup Important Files?

It's time to wrap up our last poll which received nearly 800 votes. It turns out that 48% of you like to use a mouse pad, 42% don't use one, and 10% sometimes use one. I haven't used a mouse pad in a long time, and I thought that they were starting to be phased out. It used to be that every time you purchased a new computer it would come with a mouse pad, but I haven't seen that for awhile.

Opera Mini Switching Back to Google

Back in 2007 Opera signed a deal with Yahoo! to make OneSearch the default search engine in Opera Mini. Complaints rolled in from all of the Google fans out there, and Opera has since decided to reunite users with the Google search engine. The change will roll out on March 1st to both new and existing users alike.

EU Fines Microsoft… Again

Back in September last year we wrote about how the European Court finally ruled on an antitrust case that was started back in 2004 against Microsoft. The ruling? Microsoft was fined $690 million dollars. For this particular fine, it was because the EU felt Microsoft needed to make a version of Windows without Media Player included.
