A couple of weeks ago, one of our CyerNotes articles discussed how to use the filters in Gmail. One of the tips we gave talked about using "plus addressing" in which sending an email to username+blah@gmail.com is the same as sending an email to username@gmail.com.

Amazon MP3 Downloader Available for Linux

Amazon MP3 has been getting a lot of great reviews for their 100% DRM-free music service that's been offered since September 2007. Microsoft has, however, posted an IE 8 Readiness Toolkit likely in preparation for MIX08 which starts today and runs until March 7th. In the toolkit they have download links (which we've posted at the end of this article) as well as a feature guide.

CyberNotes: Acid3 Browser Results

The other day, the Web Standards Project released the Acid3 test that will push browsers to a new level. I'm sure many of you are already familiar with the Acid2 test which has become famous because of the often discombobulated block-like smiley face most browsers produce.
