Visually enhanced bookmarks can aid web- browsing, but it is mighty diffcult to wean away from old skool stuff.

I've noticed that it can't generate the previews for all sites as well, and it would be pretty cool if the developer (John who commented above) would integrate in the link checking and such. That would seem like a natural addition to this extension since it already has to go and fetch the site.

After having tried it I will have to agree with the rest: it missed a lot of snapshots for valid websites, rendering it useless for what I thought I could use it for. Pity.

You should rather http://www.web2wave.com also based on coverflow but more usefull.

Very nicely done, but as far as I'm concerned, 'Cover Flow' has missed many snapshots, though the links were valid (I had performed a link check with AM-DeadLink just before).
Moreover, I must agree with 'Google (All-Star)', this extension is nice but rather useless, even if it remains a very nice gadget.

Cool, this way I can easily see which bookmarks can be deleted or should be updated because the site has moved or disappeared! (AM-Deadlink can miss a few)

It is also on AMO at https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/6271
Currently in the sandbox though. I just need to fix one small FF3 bug before it will be pushed public there.

Awesome find, I remember early versions of Firefox 3 having previews for your bookmarks but it was taken out once it hit Beta 1.
