I hope that my predictions are off as well, but I think they'll be pretty close to accurate. I think Microsoft might still have time to get the support added by the time IE8 is released (supposedly by the end of this year), but they are failing the test quite miserably right now. Not only that but they are still working on getting the Acid2 compliance ironed out.

Firefox 3 is almost to the release candidate stage, which means that they won't be adding compliance until the next version. Seeing that a year and a half will have passed between the Firefox 2 and Firefox 3 release I would say that it will be at least a year before we see another version of Firefox.</description>
