It's excellent!

Only one issue - it caused my FF to start bugging me with a Popup window whenever the search reaches the end of the page and starts over. How can I disable that annoying thing?

Its a good clone, but the following in my opinion should be adjustable from the extension preferences menu:

1. The background darkness should be adjustable

2. The colour of the highlight adjustable

3. the dialog notifying that I have reached the top should be gotten rid of

4. highlight should always be checked

We didn't say that this was better than the default finding method, but some people (especially those using Mac's) like to make Firefox as much like Safari as possible.

For some reason this isn't the case. When I hit Highlight all, everything works, but when I hit next none of the effects work. For whatever reason when I hit "next" it does not select "highlight all" for me like it does in the video. My guess is that one of my other extensions or themes has taken away that functionality. Oh well.

thanks works really well on osx10.5 with firefox 3 beta4
yeah, i skinned my entire firefox to match safari, even got the stop/reload 2-in-one button going on. all i need is to change the program icon, title and about screen :mrgreen:

TIP to get the safari-like merged stop/refresh button add this to userchrome.css (or create it if it doesn't exist-- is in the same ~/..../profiles/(string)/chrome folder):

/*
* Merge Stop/Refresh buttons (like in Safari)
*
* IMPORTANT NOTE: Stop button must be placed before Reload button.
*/

#stop-button[disabled] { display: none;}

#stop-button:not([disabled]) + #reload-button {
display: none;
}
