In under a year Apple has been able to fill a void in the mobile browser market that apparently few other devices can live up to. The iPhone is often criticized for having the slow Edge network wireless chipset in it, but regardless there are new reports that it has become the most used mobile browser for Internet access in the United States.
It's often a lot of fun to push things to the limits, and that's one reason a year and a half ago we installed 200 extensions in Firefox to see how well it would perform. Earlier today jkOnTheRun noticed that HP started selling the HP Mini-Note UMPC at an actually affordable price ranging from $499 to $849. What really differentiates this from the Asus Eee PC is that you can get a normal SATA hard drive up to 160GB in size as opposed to just Solid State Drives.
While Google's Presentations application has been nice, it has been missing one important feature. That feature is the option to save presentations in the PowerPoint format (PPT). Today that changes because Google now supports PPT files. This means that users will be able to open the presentations that they create with Google, in Microsoft's PowerPoint.
Back in mid-March this year, we wrote about a rumor that Flickr Video would be here sometime in April. Well, it's April and as it turns out, the rumor was true. Flickr Video has launched. It launched yesterday, and so far it's received some mixed reviews from people disappointed about some of the limitations that have been put in place for the new service.
