No problem Tim... thank you for making the app! FTP support would be really awesome so that people can actually make offsite backups. Maybe next up would be full profile syncing. ;)

Hey Ryan,

Thank you for featuring my program in your blog. I never thought this program would receive this much attention. I am starting to fix some of the bugs in this program, so I will try to help anyone who is having problems. I am working on a new version with FTP support. I realize that the menu integration is a headache, and isn't working 100% yet. If anyone needs help or wants to report a bug, you can visit http://www.operafly.com/ and click on the “Contact” link.

@DaComboMan:
Hello! Yes I meant exe files,
- i.e an easy way is to put "OperaFly.exe", "OperaFlyWatch.exe",and "7za.exe" in the main Opera folder (where lay opera.exe and OP.COM), directly (not in their own folder).
- a smoother way is to put 'OperaFly' folder (with its 3 exes) in the main Opera folder. i.e at same level as 'profile' folder.
The first method worked for a friend.
If it doesn't, i.e if the only problem is the non-integration of OperaFly in the menu Tools on Opera, it's just not worthy having an headache. Just make an entry somewhere (a good place is in the start menu, above search box, with 'add to start menu'-rightclick on operaFly.exe) so you can launch it at will, even from within Opera

It sounds like an excellent program!
I’ve installed that program and it fails to recognize my profile (within App. Data dept. of course). :cry:</blockquote>[/div]
Huh, I've used it on two different computers without any troubles. Maybe try a quick re-install of the browser?

I was thinking that backing up emails would be one of the best uses of the tool.

@DaComboMan
OperaFly 2 has not been updated since 2007...
As it’s not dependent, you could maybe try to put the executable of the zip version in the directory in which lays “op.com”.
I hadn’t to do that myself, but it worked for a friend. There’s no risk anyway. Good luck!</blockquote>[/div]
Jacques, i'm trying!
Did you mean .exe?
I've tried to place the unzipped files in the Programs section as well as Application Data one but still a no go.

It's very kind of you to point this feature out. Though powerfull, Opera seems to be the misliked browser on many sites.
On yours, it has always been the topic of entire and usefull notes.
Would it be for that only, a big thanks to you.
@DaComboMan
OperaFly 2 has not been updated since 2007,july. But it works ok for me (both on vista and xp), and it allows me to manage clean install for Op.9.50 builds. (last is beta2-9945). Its great feature is the ability to handle opera6.ini data, which is the file almost always in cause when upgrading builds on builds. As it's not dependent, you could maybe try to put the executable of the zip version in the directory in which lays "op.com".
