Each year, communicating through text messages continues to grow and has now turned into an extremely popular communication medium. Millions upon millions of text messages are sent every single month and carriers only anticipate that the number of messages sent by their subscribers will continue to grow.

One of the things that I've always enjoyed in Safari 3 is the inline search interface, and just the other day I thought I would peruse around the Internet trying to find a way to do the same thing in Firefox. Why is searching special in Safari? Because it dims the background of the page that you're on, and highlights the matching results as you type.
One of the nice features built-in to the Windows Photo Gallery in Vista is a "fix" option where you can edit your photos. Among the editing features are options to auto adjust, adjust exposure, adjust color, crop the picture, or fix red eyes in an image.
Last November, Zoho announced that they were adding offline editing support to Zoho Writer using Google Gears. We mentioned how ironic it was that Zoho was using Google's service (Google Gears) to make the offline editing support available, yet Google still wasn't offering any type of offline editing or synchronization option for Google Docs.
A lot of people are assuming that this is an April Fool's joke, but the press release is already circulating signaling that this could very well be real. Scribd is well known for taking your digital documents and turning them into an online version that can easily be shared with others.

It's not often that I come across a single widget/gadget that is good enough to constitute it's own article, and I never expected to find one that would be good enough for its own CyberNotes article. When I tried out Informer, a Yahoo Widget, I was absolutely blown away at everything it could do. It's almost an entire application in itself!
