I was just looking into the Nokia N95 for an article I wrote today (the iPhone just surpassed the N95 on Flickr) — and it’s actually an amazing phone. I can’t believe it comes with a 5 megapixel camera, very impressive!
The N82 tops the N95-3 by having a xenon flash, plus camera shutter. The iPhone definitely has some way go, feature wise.

N82 features:

* 5 megapixel cam. w/ auto focus
* Xenon flash
* Camera shutter(protects lens for clearer pics)
* DVD like video recording 30fps
* Bluetooth file transfer.
* TV out.
* Online 3D gaming.
* Navigation using offline map data.
* Browser access to local storage.
*.Multiformat multimedia support.
* Multimedia messaging service support.
* C++, Python, and M programming language support.
* Downloads over the air.
* Motion and gesture controlled apps
* MULTITASKING!
* Multiple music library sync options, including the defacto Windows Media player.

Apple markets the iphone like no one's business. If consumers did their homework, they would plainly see that the iphone seriously falls short(when compared to other smartphones) of its hype, outside web browsing/viewing and UI. Btw, my dream phone would be a iphone exterior(I love that 3.5 inch screen) w/ the N82's compatibilities, plus a slide out QWERTY.

Now that will be an iPhone competitor, but I'm a bit surprised that it's coming from Philips.

The first one just looks bulky, but out of those I think the Sony looks the sleekest.

That was my first thought too, and I think it's because it's lacking color. There's just a lot of yellow. The rest thought do look pretty decent. I think more people tend to prefer a physical QWERTY keyboard over an on-screen keyboard which is what most of the "iPhone competitors" have.

Apple's iPhone surpasses in appearance all cellphones included above. No wonder it's a baby everybody wants to have.
