Andy Hargreaves who covers Apple at Pacific Crest Securities in Portland says, “I don’t really expect them to do anything with it in the near term. I think that Steve Jobs’ experience with this company and the cycles that it’s been through has taught him to be very, very conservative, and save for the rainy day.”

After all the experience Steve Jobs has had with cancer and the way he was booted from Apple by John Scully and his followers, he knows very well that life is not a rose garden.

Saving money for bad times ahead is a very wise attitude. I’m glad Apple finally made it big. IMO, Apple is one of the few remaining survivors of the Golden Age of personal computers of the seventies.
[/div]
Ahh... I see you read Steve Jobs' whole speech. It was good, wasn't it? Although I must say, I do tend to favor listening to a speech given by Bill Gates than by Steve Jobs. Jobs tends to have an arrogance about him that Gates doesn't, in my opinion. All in all though, all three men gave great advice.
