i may be slow how do you add new email handlers manually, the javascript bit is not working for me

It requires messing with some advanced configuration options in the about:config, and can be a little confusing. What happens when you try to use the JavaScript link.

Yeah, that’s pretty annoying. Then you have to wait for the program to finish loading before you can close it.

Well I use Yahoo mail for a long time; recently I changed my web browser IE with Firefox and this feature I was looking for; but it seems that I am facing with some problems when I am trying to connect it with Gmail because emails are not synchronized very well, anyway I removed it and I now use Yahoo. Thanks for this great help !

You’ve gotta be able to, but you’ll have to figure out what the composition URL is first. I looked around but couldn’t find anyone that talked about it.
