Android Demo Shows off Some Cool Features

Last week Google hosted a conference that was geared towards developers, and during the keynote they showed off some of the cool things that the Android mobile operating system was capable of doing. In it's current state I would say that Android doesn't appear to be quite as polished as the iPhone, but the functionality is definitely awesome.

Microsoft Teams with HP to Boost Live Search

In an attempt to gain market share in the search arena, Microsoft has just announced a partnership with HP that will make their Live Search the default on Hewlett-Packard computers that are shipped in the United States and Canada.

Mahalo Opens-Up, More Like Wikipedia…

It looks as though Mahalo is opening up a bit more and taking advantage of all of the knowledge and writing talent that is out there. A recent change now allows all registered users to contribute to the site by creating and editing pages. Previously, only chosen, paid editors were given the right to do this.

CyberNotes: iChat vs. Windows Live Messenger

Remember ICQ, some of you may still use it today but back in the mid 90's it was one of the first instant messengers to really take-off and become popular. Shortly after, AOL's Instant Messenger became a hit followed by others developed by Microsoft and Yahoo. Eventually we saw clients introduced that supported multiple protocols like Pidgin, Trillian, Digsby, and Adium.
