RapidShare Redesign Cleans Up the Site

RapidShare has always been one of those sites that has seemed rather clunky. When you visited it to download a file you had to spend too much time trying to navigate around just to find where you could initiate the transfer. That's not the case anymore! They've actually revamped the interface, cleaned up the site, and it's not half bad.

Pandora Arrives on the Desktop

Win; Mac Pandora has done a great job of making a name for themselves as the 'go-to' music recommendation and Internet radio service on the web. Most people who use the service regularly have nothing but praise for it, but have often requested some type of desktop application to compliment it.

Firefox 3 RC2… We’re almost there!

Win; Mac; Linux Mozilla has released Firefox 3 RC2 today which is right on schedule, and that means we might still be on for a June launch of Firefox 3! It's even possible that this could be the last Release Candidate before Mozilla shoots for their world record.

Add Interactive Commentary to your YouTube Videos

YouTube has just added a new feature that will allow people to create videos with annotations. What they mean by annotations is a way for people to add interactive commentary to their videos. On the YouTube page that runs-through what it's all about, they explain how people can use them:

Instant Google Results in the Firefox 3 Location Bar

One of the my favorite things in Firefox and Opera is having the ability to perform searches right from the location bar using keywords. In fact I've always removed the search box from the browser simply because I never use it. But when I found out about the Peers extension I thought it was going to be the extension that would actually get me to use the search box once and for all. I was wrong.

Apple’s App Store Rumored to Launch on Monday

With the WWDC conference quickly approaching, rumors are running rampant about not only the next iPhone, but also when the App Store will launch. News.com is reporting that Apple is ready to launch the first app on Monday and so people are drawing the conclusion that the App Store will launch on Monday as well.
