Today we're taking a look at Google Spreadsheet Functions you won't find in Microsoft Office. If you haven't played around with Google Docs before, you probably haven't realized the long list of functions that are available.

We knew it was coming, but it's not even close to everything we were hoping it would be. Google announced just a short while ago that Google Docs users could begin uploading, storing, and reading PDF's on their Google account. It's nothing fancy, and for the most part it does the basic things you would expect from an online PDF viewer.

With every new release of Firefox there's always going to be a few extensions that just don't make the cut. Developers let the extensions fade into the dust as users keep their fingers crossed that someone else will pickup the project. Google Browser Sync is exactly one of those extensions, and it looks like there is very little chance of a resuscitation.

This is pretty big news coming from eBay and Microsoft. Remember just a few weeks ago when we wrote about Microsoft forking out money to lure in search users with their new program called Cashback? Well now they've partnered with eBay to offer the same cashback rewards to buyers on eBay who use the "Buy it Now" option after clicking on an eBay paid search advertisement.

I never thought Opera was going to make this possible, but I'm pleased to say that in the new Opera 9.5 you can actually customize how many Speed Dial entries are shown at any one given time! They are so incredibly useful that I've found myself needing more than the nine that comes standard in the browser.

When Microsoft withdrew their bid to acquire Yahoo back in May, while it may have appeared it was over between the two companies, it really wasn't. Now we can finally say it's over, and Microsoft and Yahoo have parted ways. They realized neither a full or partial acquisition would come from their talks, and so both have walked away.
