gBrain Extension Shutdown by Google

Back in 2005 Google launched a bookmark management service that was designed to privately store links to your favorite sites. A few months after the launch a Firefox extension called gBrain popped up that used Google Bookmarks in a rather unique way. Once installed it would basically bookmark each and every site that you visited creating a searchable history.

We’re Going On Vacation…

We just wanted to give everybody a heads-up that our writing schedule will be a little bit different over the next several days because we're taking a quick vacation to celebrate our 5-year wedding anniversary.

So We Got the iPhone 3G…

So today we took the plunge along with thousands of other people and bought the iPhone 3G. As we mentioned earlier today, we did this only because we were able to sell our original iPhones that we bought in January for $399, on eBay for $425. We sold them three days before the WWDC Keynote, so we've been without our phones for about a month.

Xbox 360 Dropping Down to $299

Gizmodo received a tip a few days back that pointed to updated pricing for the Xbox 360. It appears that a $50 price drop down to $299 is on the way, and might be coming as soon as this Sunday. Accompanying the price drop signs is a memo stating that the enclosed materials are not to be displayed before July 13th... I guess Internet leaks are okay as long as no one physically puts out the signs.

It's the iPhone 3G Launch Day today and it wouldn't be complete without some humor! In about two hours (from the time this posts) at 8 AM, Apple and AT&T Stores in the U.S. will be opening their doors to all of the people willing to sign-up for a two-year contract.
