Have you been kicking your head around trying to come up with a domain name you can remember? Even though most of the good .com addresses are already taken you shouldn't give up hope. In fact GoDaddy just started selling .me domain addresses, but they will cost you $20 per year (2-year minimum registration required).

VLC 0.9.0 Includes Last.FM Support

VLC is one of the most well-known media players out there, and it's been almost 4 years since they've released a major new version. VLC 0.9.0 is on the horizon, and it packs in 2 years of development... so you can expect some great things. There's just one gotcha: Windows 98/ME and Mac OS X 10.3.9 are no longer supported operating systems.

Apple’s MobileMe Isn’t All It’s Cracked Up To Be

Back in the beginning of June at WWDC, Apple announced that they would be replacing their .Mac service with a new service called MobileMe. They described it as "Exchange for the rest of us" and said users would have push email, contacts and calendars.

Google Docs Gets Impressive Templates Gallery

One of the features that Google Docs has been "missing" to make it a complete online office suite is templates. I've used templates in Microsoft Office on multiple occasions whether it be for a resume, a brochure, or a newsletter, and for some, they are a necessity. Google Docs hasn't offered anything like that until now.

CyberNotes: Our Favorite Thursday CyberNotes Articles

On Thursdays we always try to walk you through how to do something, and over the years we have collected a rather large library of "how to" articles because of this. In fact one of my favorite articles of all-time happens to be a CyberNotes that I wrote for a tutorial. It's not that its a really popular article, but we've received a lot of "thank you's" from the people whom it has helped.
