Sleipnir Browser Successful in Japan, Targets English Users Now

Just when you thought we had enough web browsers available another goes and pops up right under our noses. That's exactly what the Japanese browser called Sleipnir did, and it's managed to scrounge up 9% of the browser market share in Japan.

Ever since Apple's App Store launched, we have heard from developers complaining for various reasons. One complaint is that when they (the developers) make an update, it takes Apple too long (there have been reports of developers waiting up to 10 days) to make the update available to the masses.

It's hard to believe that it has already been one year since TechSmith released their free Jing screencast and screenshot software. The project has been amazingly successful, and I can't say that I'm really surprised by that. Jing is simple to use, free, and more often than not it offers everything people need... including free hosting!

One of the features that many people are quick to point out is missing from the iPhone is voice dialing. Hundreds of phones offer such a feature and when the new iPhone 3G didn't have it, people were left wondering why. Soon the iPhone will have at least a few voice-type features thanks to technology that AT&T is researching and developing.

LIVE for Windows Games is Free

I'm sure that most of you have heard about Microsoft's Xbox LIVE video game service that lets players compete against each other over an Internet connection. Similarly Microsoft also has a Games for Windows LIVE service that will let you play against other people on your PC, and starting today the service is being offered to consumers for free.
