Helpful Tip: Right-Click in Boot Camp

It's nice that with Apple computers you can now run the Windows operating system using Boot Camp, but they don't tell you how to do things like right-click. For the longest time I didn't notice any problems because I often have my MacBook Pro hooked up to an external mouse and keyboard, and the mouse has two-buttons just like most standard computer mice.

PeaZip: Unzip Files for Free

I've been a big fan of the open source 7-Zip application, and it has served me well over the last few years. Today, however, I came across a new program called PeaZip that looks like it is just as nice, and the great news is that it works on both Windows and Linux.

Over the last month or so (possibly longer), YouTube users who go to sign-in to their accounts have been seeing a green bar at the top of the page asking them to link their YouTube and Google accounts together.

Microsoft Surface Appears in Sheraton Hotels

Microsoft has announced today that five Sheraton hotel locations around the United States will be sporting the Surface computer. Each unit has been customized to offer entertainment and information about the local area, including satellite maps that make it easier getting from the hotel to your destination. All of this is done on the 30-inch digital table.

Best Buy To Start Selling The iPhone 3G

Last year about this same time, rumor had it that Apple was preparing to allow their "revolutionary" iPhone to be sold in Best Buy stores. One site, AppleInsider said on August 3rd, 2007,." Interestingly enough, Best Buy never did get the opportunity to sell the original iPhones in their stores last year but they just might get the opportunity to sell iPhone 3G's this year.
