Mygazines is a site that could turn out to be too good to be true. It allows users to share magazine articles by uploading them to the site. This then allows for anyone to view those magazine articles free of charge. It is very easy, and possible, to read an entire magazine right on the site.

USB 3.0 Transfer Speeds are Blazing Fast

Last week Intel unveiled USB 3.0 specs that demonstrates how the next generation USB is going to work. USB 3.0, also known as SuperSpeed USB, is due out in 2009 or 2010. Intel was even kind enough to make the new specification royalty free so that developers don't have to fork out money just to make devices that utilize the new technology.

Shareaza Team Launching New File Sharing Client Soon

The open-source file sharing application Shareaza has been going through some tough times lately. They had their domain hijacked by a company called Discordia Ltd. back in December 2007, which is the same company who turned Bearshare and iMesh into paid services. On the Shareaza.com site they then started offering an app called "Shareaza 4" that promotes legal downloads.

Once again, Apple has unexpectedly released an updated version of the iPhone firmware. Version 2.0.2 was released last evening, but not many details were provided as to what the update included, other than it "fixes bugs." Which bugs you ask? Well, we're not quite sure.

Back in February we told you about Yahoo Buzz, a service Yahoo pushed into beta that you could easily compare to Digg. Yahoo described it as a new way for people to tell everybody what they thought was cool and in the process, help make Yahoo.com even better. Yahoo Buzz tries to determine the best stories on the web based upon votes, emails and searches.
