One of the programs, called BurnAware, was sold off a few months later to a company who scrapped the idea of offering a free version of the program. I had uploaded a mirror for the last free version, and over the last two months it's been downloaded almost 1,500 times.

Google Suggest Graduates from Labs

Back in December of 2004 on The Official Google Blog, Google Software Engineer Kevin Gibbs announced that Google was launching a new Labs project. CyberNotes: Disk Usage & Hard Drive Visualization

One of the things that's always nice to know is what you can remove from your hard drive to quickly regain hard drive space. Maybe there are some enormous games on your computer that you don't play anymore, or files you've downloaded that have never gotten deleted? By using hard drive visualization tools you'll be able to pinpoint exactly what is eating up your hard drive storage.

A Longer/Slimmer iPod nano Coming?

Kevin Rose claims to know what the new iPod nano is going to look like and if he's right, Apple is going back to more of the original look. As you'll see in the photo below, they are ditching the "fat" look and going for a longer/slimmer look:

Several months ago for one of our CyberNotes, we talked about Vista's Parental Controls and how it's one of Vista's shining points. MyFive: Sources for Identifying Unknown Callers

This past week, I experienced several days where the phone rang multiple times throughout the day with a caller claiming I took an online survey about continuing my education. The caller claimed that they wanted to help me find courses to take. Knowing I hadn't filled out any such survey about my education, I was curious and asked for the URL of the website.
