Did Microsoft Fail with New Windows Ad?

Microsoft has started their $300 million ad campaign that, as previously mentioned, features the talent of Jerry Seinfeld. I saw the ad last night, and there has been a lot of talk about the quality of it this morning. Personally I was expecting it to, at the very least, inadvertently show off some things Vista is capable of doing.

Joost Getting Ready For the Web

It's been a while since we've heard any significant news from Joost. They launched into an invite only beta back in early 2007 and made quite the stir with everybody eager to get their hands on an invite. Since then, not a whole lot has been said. While there was a demand for invites at launch, the masses weren't impressed with the service.

Computers are continuing to get more and more powerful, but a lot of people don't need that extra computing power that the advances in technology bring to the table. At home most people only do things like check their email, chat with friends, and other basic tasks. Dell has recognized this, and the new Dell Inspiron Mini 9 will fill that need.
