CyberSearch Publicly Available on Mozilla Add-ons

It's taken a few months, but I'm happy to announce that anyone can install our homegrown CyberSearch extension for Firefox without needing a Mozilla account. Just yesterday our extension got pushed out of the sandbox, and a big thanks goes out to all of the CyberSearch users who took the time to leave a review.

iPhone 2.1 Firmware Now Available…

As promised, today Apple launched the iPhone 2.1 Firmware. They actually surprised us by including details on exactly what it was that they changed with this firmware instead of vaguely saying "bug fixes." This update has been highly anticipated, simply because it is supposed to fix issues with dropped calls, battery life, and accuracy of the 3G signal strength.

Last week when Microsoft aired their first Windows ad, a lot of you had lots to say about it. Some of you thought that the commercial simply wasn't funny while others of you thought that despite the fact there was no direct message, at least they were getting the logo out.

Unlikely Partnership: Microsoft and RIM

Who would have expected that RIM, makers of the BlackBerry, would turn to Microsoft, a rival of theirs (Windows Mobile), for a partnership? We didn't expect it, but it happened. Just today the companies announced that Microsoft Live Search would be available on the BlackBerrys sometime this year.

Facebook users are once again showing that they aren't too big on change. With Facebook getting ready to "force" all users to use the new design, there's been some people speaking-up about their dislike for the new design.

Google Docs Gets Dictionary and Table of Contents Features

Previously if you wanted to insert a Table of Contents into your Google Docs document, or look-up the definition of a word, you had to use some JavaScript to make it happen because Google hadn't officially launched the features. Now they have and they are easily available to users.

Store Files on iPhone with App… Free for 2-weeks Only

One thing that really sucks with the iPhone and iPod Touch is that neither of them can be used to store files. When you have that much storage space available to you, being able to store files would be really nice.
