CyberNet’s Birthday Bash Starts Monday

Wow, time sure does fly, doesn't it? It flew by so fast that we almost missed our Birthday! Almost... This past Tuesday, December 3rd, was our official 3rd Birthday. We've taken some time this week to put together another Birthday Bash full of giveaways, just like last year. Unlike last year, we're giving you a heads up on when to expect the giveaways so that more of you will be able to enter.

Microsoft SkyDrive Jumps to 25GB Free Online Storage

Microsoft is trying hard to show people that they are serious about online storage, and I'd say they are doing a darn good job of it. They just updated their SkyDrive online file storage service with numerous new features, but more importantly they bumped up the free storage quota from a mere 5GB to 25GB.

Opera 10 Gets Inline Spell Checking and More

I've been waiting to see what Opera had in store for us in version 10, and it looks like everyone is finally getting a peak. In fact I'm a bit surprised by what has been revealed so far, but in a good way. For awhile it seemed like other browsers were trying to find their own ways to adopt features that were first introduced in Opera, but the opposite never really happened.

My favorite blogging software has always been Windows Live Writer because of the tremendous job Microsoft has done maintaining and adding more and more useful features to it. The interface is nice, inline spell checking catches mistakes as I make them, and the overall experience is very positive.

Free Firefox Memory with TooManyTabs Extension

Last week Cody sent me in a tip for an experimental Firefox extension that I just had to try out. It's called TooManyTabs, and it essentially adds another tab bar to your Firefox window where you can temporarily store some of your existing tabs. To do this all you have to do is hover over a tab, and you'll see the tab's icon turn into an up arrow (as seen in the screenshot above).
